Classes explore the stories of our faith tradition and the faith-based actions/practices of our faith in multi-sensory, stimulating ways. Classes begin Sunday School with praises to God through music, followed by age-appropriate lessons for Bible learning. Each week, children will relate with Bible characters, see themselves in the Bible story, and apply faith-based actions to their own lives as they learn about the stories of our faith, from Creation to the Gospels and beyond!
Please note: Children's Worship is not meeting at this time.
At Covenant, children three years old and up are invited to worship in the sanctuary. While children are welcome to remain in the sanctuary for the entirety of worship, children ages 3 through 2nd grade are invited to attend “Children’s Worship” during the 10:30 AM worship service each week (following the Time with Our Children). Children’s Worship is a program that enables children to worship God in a special space with a worship routine that is designed especially for them. When you see the children leaving worship after the Children’s Time, they are headed to Children’s Worship.
The children and their Helpers and Storyteller/Worship Leader gather for worship downstairs in the Children’s Worship room (signs will lead you there). In this space, your children will hear the stories of God’s people, sing, break bread together, and give praise to God. This will be a special time of worship and of learning.
Vacation Bible School is a joy and a privilege to host each year at Covenant. Manned by adult and youth volunteers, we meet for one week in the summer and dive into a Biblical theme or story through music, crafts, recreation, science, and storytelling. We gather from 9:00 AM to noon and our VBS is open to the community.
