Loving God, Loving People, Making Disciples
Covenant Presbyterian Church is a mid-sized intergenerational congregation that enjoys lively traditional worship, education, service, and fellowship opportunities. Located in the Roanoke Valley of southwestern Virginia, we are a church of the Presbytery of the Peaks and draw members from the city of Roanoke, Roanoke County, the city of Salem, and beyond.

Covenant was founded in 1957 by families, many of them new to the area and eager to build a new community church. Throughout the decades, Covenant’s programs have been highlighted with vibrant music in worship and dynamic Christian education for youth and adults. We have maintained a focus on benevolent giving while adding outreach-based mission work. After more than 60 years, Covenant continues to celebrate the love of Christ that draws us together in worship and sends us into our community and beyond in service.
