Connecting in Christian community helps youth develop a friend group outside of their schools in a place based on the principle of inclusion. We hope our youth find acceptance, feel the boundary-breaking love of God, and are encouraged to share that love with others. Our youth and adult volunteers learn to lead, to study the Bible, ask questions, and most importantly have some fun!
Youth gather on Sundays at 9:15 AM in person for both Middle & Senior High classes. Every few years, the Middle High students experience Confirmation class for grades 7 and 8. Classes run September-May.
In order to gain a better understanding of the Bible and its place in world history, our Sunday School youth are going through the Old Testament in chronological order. A wide variety of educational styles are used in teaching. The youth also participate in planning and/or leading worship service on a regular basis.
Youth Connection
‘Youth Connection’ evenings are a time of fun, fellowship, problem discussion, and Christian devotions. This is a relaxed time to just enjoy being with Christian friends. Two major mission projects are worked by our youth, along with other various opportunities that are worked in conjunction with adults. Other fun activities such as lock-ins, youth retreats, sporting events etc. keep our teens active. Many of our activities are in conjunction with the teens from our neighboring church, Windsor Hills United Methodist. We take the safety of our youth seriously. For that reason, we usually do not post upcoming events. For information on activities please contact Jewel Aagaard.
Covenant Youth Group offers dedicated transportation with our church bus!
